Weight Loss after C-Section. During pregnancy weight
gain is normal because it is necessary for proper health and nourishment of
fetus and mothers. But some women put on extra weight in pregnancy that is
alarming sign of getting complications during pregnancy or after delivery. So,
it is too much important to control your weight after delivery. Sometimes,
normal weight gains during pregnancy also teased you because you don’t care
about yourself after delivery. So, being a Clinical Dietitian today I have
decided to talk about weight management after C-section delivery.

Mothers become very
sensitive after this major surgery. Hair fall, knee pain and back pains are
normal after C-section but it can be recovered by proper diet. If you take your
diet plan by consultation of a dietitian, then it becomes more best because a
dietitian knows very well how put calories and nutrients in your diet. Some women
also complain a problem of constipation or piles after C-section that is due to
surgery and somehow due to no proper diet or due to eat most thermic diets.
Care of mothers after
C-section is very important matter that is often neglected due to no proper
knowledge, lack of awareness or due to financial problems or due to no proper
care. So, these are all causes that create problems for mothers in future. In
this way, Breastfeeding to their babies also affected. Due to that babies
normal or development also compromised due to mother’s health disturbance.

keep in mind during weight loss journey after C-section; Â

Be Patient:
If
you have start to diet for weight loss after C-section, then you should to stay
humble and stay relax. Don’t be worried about your weight or take stress
because it puts pressure on your stomach and it can disturb your digestion. Due
to that you can’t be successful in weight loss journey because you can face
constipation, acidity and may be piles with full intensity. And must start your
diet with consultation of your dietitian.

Eat Healthy:
It
is very important to eat healthy during weight loss efforts because it can save
you to loss nutrients or prevent you from various deficiencies like calcium,
vitamin D, zinc, vitamin E and iron. Because if you are face these deficiencies
then body pains, hair loss or back pains can be happening that is not good or
it shows you are not choosing right diet for consumption.

Don’t use Crash Diet Plans:
Many
mothers doing this mistake doing crash diet plans without any recommendation
because they want to lose weight very fast due to that their body is affected.
Even by doing crash plans they loss just protein or lean mass but their fat remains
in body as before. Due to protein deficiency you can’t prepare your body for
next pregnancy very easily. You will also feel weakness in your body due to
that you are not able to take care for your baby.

Don’t miss a Chance of Breastfeed to your baby:
Breastfeeding
is very necessary for your baby for their proper nourishment, growth and
development. But researchers have said about this, breastfeed is not only good
or beneficial to your babies but also for their mothers in a sense it causes
for weight loss naturally for mothers. According to scientific research if a
mother feed her baby regularly on daily basis after delivery she burns actually
600 to 700 calories per day. Due to which mothers can easily lose weight after
delivery by feeding their babies. There are many other benefits for mothers
like chances of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, type 2 diabetes or high blood
pressure can be minimized.

Do Exercises:
You
should include light exercises by consultation of your healthcare provider. It
is best to do low intensity exercises for safety. You can also take start from
walk with your baby and it can also give you recovery fast after C-section and
also keeps your stomach healthy.

Stay Hydrated:
Water
intake is mostly low in mothers after deliveries that is not correct. If you
want to lose weight after C-section, then it is very important for you to drink
enough water daily. It is calories free but it helps you to burn more calories
by decreasing your appetite if you consume it before meals. It can also prevent
you from constipation or piles after C-section.

Balanced Diet:
Balanced
diet actually plays a vital role for mothers after C-section to nourish them
and energy boost ups. Diet that has balanced concentration of Carbohydrates,
Proteins, Fats, Vitamins and minerals is called balanced diet that includes
cereals, fruits, vegetables, dry fruits, nuts, seeds, proteins and dairy
products.

Include Proteins:
Proteins
are of two types; plant based and animal based. Both are good for weight loss
after C-section. Plant based protein has no fat but animal based protein gives
you fats especially red meats. Protein give energy to mothers and helps to give
you fast recovery of surgery. Protein also repairs tissues and organs that are
affected due to surgery and it also play important role to stop hair fall.

Include Fiber in Your Diet:
Fiber
in diet helps to reduce weight because it makes your gut healthy and stay long
time in stomach due to which you feel full and you can’t over eat due to fiber
intake. Best sources for fiber intake are fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
Fiber intake also prevent you from constipation and piles.
Diet
Plan after C-Section for Weight Loss:
Pre-Breakfast:

1 Glass warm water
·
1 spoon Honey (Add
1 spoon of Honey in warm Water then stir it and drink it and do 30-minute walk
after it)
·
1 Apple (Take 1
Apple after 1 hour of honey water intake)
·
4 Almonds (Soak
Almonds in warm water at night and peel out before intake and take after 20
minutes’ consumption of Apple)
Breakfast:
·
1 Chapatti of
normal size
·
1 spoon Butter
·
1 Cup of cooked
Vegetable or Legumes or Meat

·
1 Egg Omelet with1
Chapatti
Snacks:
·
1 Guava
Lunch:
·
½ Chapatti
·
1 Beef Kabab
·
1 Cup Raita
·
½ Cup cooked
Vegetable
·
½ Cucumber
Evening Snack:
·
1 Glass Milk
·
2 Dates
·
1 Banana
Dinner:
·
1 Chapatti
·
½ Cup cooked
Vegetable
·
1 spoon Olive oil
Bed Time:
·
1 Cup Green tea
Important Instructions:
Here
are some important instructions that you should follow by doing this diet plan.
Because these are basic steps that must be followed. If you do diet plan
without following these important steps, then there are no benefits to follow
this diet plan. Because if you are on diet for weight loss and not correcting
your basic line that is proper healthy lifestyle then diet plan has no more
effective in weight loss.
