Hemoglobin is a protein for oxygen transportation in our body. Hemoglobin is present in red blood cells. Hemoglobin contains iron in it which actually plays an important role for oxygen transportation from lungs to tissues, organs or other parts of the body and it is also carry carbon dioxide from all organs and tissues to lungs. In this way, our respiration system is working on this mechanism. Hemoglobin 70% is present in red blood cells. Iron which is present in blood is called hemoglobin and which is present in muscles is called myoglobin.

Hemoglobin is very important component in our body because if it will be low then iron will also be low because it contains iron and if iron is low then we will be at deficient of oxygen. If oxygen level is not enough then our respiration system can be disturbed. So, it is very necessary to care about Hemoglobin in body. There is a CBC Count test in which Hemoglobin level also checked. This test should be repeated in 6 months after age 25 years. 

Main symptoms of Hemoglobin deficiency can also be indicated by clinical signs. Like you feel fatigue, low energy, lethargic, inactive, pale skin  and lip color change, hair loss. But Hemoglobin deficiency can cause serious health hazards. Like sever pain in legs and back. You can feel shortness of breath, chest pain, heart palpitations, dizziness, mouth ulcers and brittle nails. But in pregnancy, folate deficiency anemia causing premature birth that put your baby on health risks. 

Daily iron requirements are 8mg in men and 18mg in women. Iron level is maintained by diet which is present in green leafy vegetables, especially in red meat, eggs and fish. But for iron proper absorption in body can’t possible without vitamin C, vitamin B12 and folic acid. So, when you are facing iron deficiency then there should be main focus on all these nutrients to fulfil proper demand of iron for proper body functioning.
